Can you believe that September is over already?! Now I know that a lot of people out there felt that this year flew by quickly for them, but for some reason, I feel like this whole year has been dragging out longer than it should. So anyway, I know that September ended two weeks ago, but since I haven't done a monthly favourites in awhile, I thought I'd do another one for September and share with you all some of my favourite products for that month!
If any of you follow my instagram (right here), you would know that I had purchased the Stila 'In the Moment' Eye Shadow Palette not long ago. Now if you've seen this palette before, you would know that many of the shades in there are purple. In fact, the whole packaging of the palette is purple! Is there a certain look that you always resort to when you've ran out of ideas for a make up look? Well, I know I do! So I mentioned a few times in my blog that I tend to use neutral coloured eye shadows when doing my make up, but I've never really posted up a look on here where I use these types of eye shadows. Whenever I think of make up for autumn, I always think of gorgeous dark lips, along with gradient brown eye shadows in representation of the gloomy atmosphere the season bring. So to celebrate the last month of autumn, I decided to put together a look which I believe is suitable to wear for the season!
After purchasing the Maybelline 24Hr Colour Tattoo in Silver Strike, I couldn't resist but test it out! I've always stuck to warm toned colours, such as the usual brown and occasional gold, so I was quite excited to be trying something a bit more daring.
Since coming back from Melbourne and basically blowing up my whole bank account while over there, I vowed to myself to stop spending and start saving! However, when I realised that there was a 50% sale off all make up items in Chemist Warehouse, I couldn't resist but splurge a little. Thankfully, I was able to control myself and only bought items that I've been desperate to get for awhile.
