Mini Haul: Chemist Warehouse Sale

Since coming back from Melbourne and basically blowing up my whole bank account while over there, I vowed to myself to stop spending and start saving! However, when I realised that there was a 50% sale off all make up items in Chemist Warehouse, I couldn't resist but splurge a little. Thankfully, I was able to control myself and only bought items that I've been desperate to get for awhile.

I've been trying to invest in a new blush and for awhile I've been hearing many positive reviews on the Maybelline Fit Me blush. I decided to get the colour 'Medium Pink' as by the looks of it, it does not seem too pinky, and very natural. I quite like the packaging as it is quite small in size, and also comes along with a brush as well. This makes it very portable and fit to bring while travelling!

I don't own many eye shadow palettes as I mostly use the Urban Decay Naked Palette, which basically contains all of the essentials. However, I'm quite protective over the palette, so the idea of taking it with me when I travel doesn't sit so well with me. And since I am going overseas very soon, I decided to purchase a small eye shadow palette that I can take along with me. After some contemplation, I decided to settle with the REVLON Custom Eyes Sweet Innocence Palette. I went for this palette as the colours in here are very neutral, which will be suitable while on my trip as there really is no point for me to wear such bold colours on my eyes since I won't necessarily be going anywhere 'fancy' while overseas.

I've also been meaning to purchase a finishing powder as the one I own at the moment is getting quite old. I decided to purchase a translucent powder simply because I don't think I've ever owned one before. I picked up the REVLON Photoready Transulcent Powder as the products from the REVLON Photoready line are generally quite good. I haven't heard any feedbacks on this powder yet, but hopefully it's as good as the other products from the line!

Last but not least, I purchased the Maybelline 24 Hour Colour Tattoo in the colour Silver Strike. I usually stick to the very natural colours when it comes to eye shadows, but I've decided to try and be a bit daring with my eye make up now and decided to go with a bolder colour...I'm really hoping that I can pull this colour off.

Altogether, I was able to save $43.90, which is a pretty decent price! I honestly do wish I bought more items now considering how cheap they were, but I really do need to save up now. Just thinking about all the money I spent in the past two months make me want to faint!

Anyway, I can't wait to test these new products and hopefully I'll be able to give a review on them pretty soon!
