After purchasing the Maybelline 24Hr Colour Tattoo in Silver Strike, I couldn't resist but test it out! I've always stuck to warm toned colours, such as the usual brown and occasional gold, so I was quite excited to be trying something a bit more daring.
I wanted to create a gradient effect on the outer corners of my eyes to blend in with the silver eye shadow and to add more dimensions to it. In order to achieve this, I firstly applied a dark brown eye shadow at the crease, then blending it out. This can also be acted out as a guideline as to where the silver eye shadow should end. After applying the silver eye shadow, I applied a black eye shadow on the outer corners of my eyes and blending it in. This step is completely optional, but because the silver from the cream eye shadow was quite bold, I decided to tone it down by going over it with a grey eye shadow. With the lips, I decided to go with a nude colour so the attention is not drawn away from the eyes.
This look is perfect for events such as parties, clubbing or at any holiday parties such as Christmas or New Years! Yes, I know, Christmas and New Years have just passed but hey, it doesn't hurt to wait for the next one!
