Beautifully Bronzed
Is there a certain look that you always resort to when you've ran out of ideas for a make up look? Well, I know I do! So I mentioned a few times in my blog that I tend to use neutral coloured eye shadows when doing my make up, but I've never really posted up a look on here where I use these types of eye shadows. So today, I'd like to finally show you a look using these neutral toned eye shadows! This look is also my go-to whenever I have no idea on what to wear for my make up on a night out. It's simple, fun and easy to do!
I absolutely love this look because I find it to be quite effortless yet breathtaking at the same time. The eye shadow colours I used were all from my favourite Urban Decay Naked Palette. This palette has got to be one of the best purchases I've ever made because the colours are so versatile. You can create a look for a casual day out, or for a night out with some friends. The colours are also all neutral toned so it's suitable for everyone. And of course, the pigmentation is amazing!
Now when it comes to the eyes, I love creating dimensions to it with my eye shadows because having born with monolids, I kind of lack in the department of having amazingly structured eyelids...if that makes any sense. For example, a crease! I, unfortunately, don't have a visible crease on my eyes, so what do I do? I fake it till I make it...with my eye shadow. By using a brown eye shadow, I outline a crease to give my eyes more depth. For this, I used the colour 'Hustle' from the palette. A shimmery gold eye shadow is used for the centre of the lids to highlight that area and make my eyes pop. The colour I used for this was 'Half Baked', which is a gorgeous colour and definitely one of favourite colours from the palette. And to make my eyes more dramatic, I always use a darker colour for the outer corner of my eyes. With this look, I used the colour 'Darkhorse' for my outer corners, which is a colour that's slightly darker than 'Hustle'. Last but not least, instead of using an eyeliner for the lower eye line, I used the colour 'Hustle' again for the lower lines to avoid my eyes from looking too harsh and to create that smokey effect.
Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed this look as much as I do!
