OOTD: #Unilyf

Uni has finally started again this week, yay...not! Well actually, I'm not going to lie, I was a tiny bit excited about starting uni again, only because I was starting a new course. So you're probably wondering, how was my first week back at uni? It was pretty chilled, met some new people. It wasn't amazing or anything, but then again you can't expect too much from the first week. Anyway aside from that, I'd just like to show you all an insight as to what I usually wear to uni. I'm not one to rock up to uni in trackies or hoodies and all, because although it is only uni, I still like to present myself in a somewhat nice manner.

When choosing an outfit for uni, I like to go for a more casual look because it really is only uni, but more importantly, comfort. This white sweater I purchased a few months ago from Lookbook has been one of my favourite items for awhile now because it fits into this category perfectly. And especially because the weather has been quite chilly recently, this sweater is quite suitable to wear for uni at this time of the year. Another thing I absolutely love about this sweater is it's versatility. I can match it with so many other items from my wardrobe, and so it gives me more opportunities to wear it.

Although I do like to be a bit simple with my outfits for uni, it's always fun to add a little bit of edginess aswell. These black jeans I purchased from America most definitely adds that little bit extra to the outfit. How cool does it look with all those little zips? Too bad they're not extra pockets though, that would've been quite convenient. And because I am doing quite a lot of walking around uni, a comfy foot attire is a must, and these are where my converses come in handy. I wear converses almost all the time to uni not only because of it's comfort, but because they really add that finishing touch to your outfit. And of course, a scarf is a must! The weather has been so cold lately that I've pretty much been wearing a scarf every single day. But I'm not complaining, they do make for a good accessory.

So there you have it, my typical outfit for uni! Although it can get quite bothersome trying to decide what to wear to uni everyday, I do like the freedom of being able to wear whatever you want. It's also a great excuse to buy new clothes, I know I've spent quite a lot of money this year on clothes...oh well, no regrets!

Stay tuned to see more updates on my blog!
