Rebellion

Do you ever have those moments where you feel that all rules should be broken and you basically don't give a a second thought on what anyone thinks of you? Well, I'm not really having one of those days per say, but here's an edgy look that I threw in together as a perfect representation for this rebellious stage.

Now I'm not saying that being rebel is a good thing, but it's fun to make up your own rules at times. And of course, it's even better when you do it with the perfect look! Okay, so this look I put together really is quite simple and not much product was used in the making. A dark lip colour I feel is a must when you're creating a rebel look as it somewhat presents this dark side to you. By complementing it with some dark and dramatic eyeliner, this really shows that tough side of you. Last final requirement to complete this look is definitely contouring. So go crazy with your bronzer and make those cheek bones stand out! Now when I think of rebel, I think of big attitude! Big hair equals big attitude so don't be afraid to volumise that hair of yours. You can tease it like crazy, or you can curl your hair with a big curling iron, which is it
what I did. I absolutely love this look because not only is it edgy and stylish, but you can have so much fun with it!

(I had to throw a Miley Cyrus in here)

Putting this look aside, just like to share with you all my latest (not really) obsession recently. Alright, so if you know me well, you should know that I have a major guilty pleasure for reality tv shows. Recently, I've been obsessed with America's Next Top Model, in particular the latest cycle, Cycle 20, which for the first time features guys as well as girls! This cycle was actually released last year and I was obsessed with it back then, but I recently began to obsess over it again for some reason. The reason why I love this cycle because the addition of guys makes the show a whole lot better! It's kind of like Big Brother I guess, but incorporated with a modelling competition. There's a lot more personality and it's so interesting to see modelling in terms for a male. Cycle 21 is premiering soon and is also featuring guys as well, so I cannot wait to watch that when it's released! Although, I don't think it will top off Cycle 20.

Anyway, hope you enjoy this edgy look, because I sure did have fun with it!

Maybe a bit too much fun...

Stay tuned to see more updates on my blog!

  1. It's always nice to leave your comfort zone once in a while and try out new looks and styles. I don't think I can personally pull off this look but you look great :)
