Taiwan and Vietnam Haul

So here's the thing, although travelling with a big bunch of people is filled with lots of joy, there is a downer to it. And what's that downer you may ask? Well...it means less shopping. I know, how sad! But because there is so many people, it's hard to go to the places you want as you don't always go to the places you want and when you do, you spend a majority of the time trying to look for everyone. Thus, because of this reason, I was unable to buy as much as I wanted. Nevertheless, I did buy some items which I believe are essential and worthy of sharing!

First off, I'll start with the clothing items. I never expected myself to buy any clothes from Vietnam due to the poor quality of...a majority of the clothing there. However when we made a trip to one of the biggest shopping malls in Saigon, I couldn't resist myself and buy some clothing items, well, two. One of the items I purchased was an Urban styled black and white skirt which I fell in love with at first sight! The pattern on the skirt is very unique and edgy, and is definitely something that's missing in my wardrobe. I also bought a long-sleeved purple top as I don't own many long sleeve tops. I also bought this as I feel as if it's an item that I'll be wearing to Uni quite often. While in Taiwan though, I was expecting to buy a lot more clothings. But things didn't turn out the way I was hoping to as the clothes in Taiwan were rather pricey. However whilst walking through the street markets, I came across this stall where they were selling a very interesting scarf. I say interesting because it's not just a normal neck scarf, but it can be turned into all sorts of style! An infinite scarf, cardigan, dress, the list is endless! This was something that I had to purchase and, of course, I will definitely make a post on it! I also purchased a cute red loose sweater, even though I know it's still summer here in Australia.

On to the beauty products, which unfortunately as well, is not as much as I hoped to be. However, I was able to buy the beauty products that I have been longing to purchase for a while now. I started using My Beauty Diary Face Masks at the beginning of last year and my skin fell in love with the product! However, I stopped using it a few months after as I did not want to pay for shipping fee and although I could buy them in my home town, they were definitely out of my price range. Thus, when I came across them in Sasa in Taiwan, I knew I had to make a purchase on them. I also bought the Sasatinne BB Cream as I am running low on BB Cream. Frankly, I have never heard of this BB Cream before, but hearing what the sales assistant had to say about it, I decided to take a risk and try it out! I also bought a few fragrances in one of the street markets in Taiwan. I know that items sold in street markets are not necessarily top quality, however they were only $4 and I could not resist myself from them!

Of course, I also bought a few miscellaneous items, such as key rings and other souvenirs in memory of the places I have been to. Although I did not buy all the items I had hoped to, I am still satisfied with my purchases!

Stay tuned for more posts as I will be doing a review on my new beauty products!
