Review: 'My Beauty Diary' Sheet Masks

While I was in Taiwan, one of the beauty products that I purchased were the 'My Beauty Diary' Face Masks, which is quite well-known in Asia. Here is my review on this infamous beauty product!

ABOUT THE PRODUCT:

'My Beauty Diary' Sheet Masks originated from Taiwan and are made from natural ingredients, suitable for Asian skins. They come in a range of different formulas, such as Green Apple, Red Wine and Bird's Nest, with each of them performing their own unique tasks on the skin.

Below is a comparison chart for the different mask formulas.

PACKAGING:

'My Beauty Diary' Sheet Masks are sold in boxes with 10 sheets in each. The design of the box is quite cute with bright colours, which successfully captures people's attention. Well...it sure captured my attention!

The masks are sealed inside a packet, like all other sheet masks you buy. However since you must use your hands to put the mask on, it's best to make sure that your hands are clean, just for hygiene purposes.

APPLICATION:

I always find it extremely relaxing when applying a sheet mask after a nice shower. But before putting the mask on, I would recommend to cleanse your skin first as the masks do not help with cleansing. I also find that it works more effectively on a clean face. After leaving the mask on for about 10 minutes, I rub the excess serum onto my skin. Do not wash it off as this is all goodness for your skin! After that, I would then apply my favourite moisturiser. This is completely optional, but you can also apply some toner just to wipe off some excess dirt. I would recommend applying the sheet masks on approximately 3 times a week.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

This is definitely a product which I think is worth stocking up! It's refreshing on the skin and each formula does it's job accordingly. The results on your skin can also instantly be seen. The only con I would have to say about it is that there is a bit too much excess serum. But besides that, there isn't much to complain about it. I mean, even famous Taiwanese celebrities recommend this product! Now you can't go wrong with celebrity recommendations, can you?

If you are looking for a sheet mask that is hydrating and affordable, then this is definitely the product for you!
