OOTD: Streets of Melbourne

Melbourne is renowned for many things, and their graffiti art is definitely one of them. So I thought it was a must for me to capture these unique street work onto camera. However instead of just taking photos solely on the artwork, I decided to put together an outfit that somewhat represents the street works of Melbourne. Enjoy!

I feel that when it comes to streetwear, ripped jeans fit into this category perfectly! I bought these ripped jeans awhile ago from America, but never really wore them as much as I thought I would at first. But recently, I've been wearing it more often. How unusual, right? Maybe it's because I've recently become obsessed with urban-styled clothing. To complement with the jeans, I decided to wear my all time favourite sweater from General Pants. I've had this sweater for the longest time and I absolutely love the simplicity of it because I can match it with almost anything. Furthermore, the quality of it is amazing!

To add a little more edge with this outfit, I decided to pair it up with my favourite 'Coco Made Me Do It' beanie. I love wearing this beanie because it's so quirky and out there. I must say I also love the funny looks and compliments that people give when I wear this beanie. And because this outfit wasn't out there enough, I decided to borrow my friend's flannel cardigan to tie around my waist because, well, who actually wears flannel cardigans these days?

Melbourne is honestly one of my favourite places and one of the reasons for this is because of the fashion. Don't get me wrong, I love Adelaide and all, but the fashion here is just incomparable to Melbourne. Everyone there is just so expressive and unique with their outfits that you can basically wear anything you want without getting strange looks. I'm not saying that no one dresses nice here in Adelaide, but I just feel that the fashion here is so...mellow. I mean, you could basically run around naked in Melbourne and no one would give a second thought! I really hope no one does though, since it's quite chilly over there...

Anyway, since coming back from Melbourne I do have a few posts I'll be doing very shortly, such as a Melbourne Haul and possibly a Melbourne Photo Diary. And because I'm on holidays at the moment, I will definitely try to post more often. So don't forget to check those out in the coming days!

Stay tuned to see more updates on my blog!
